WI Member adopts Webkinz Weimaraner
Congrats to sugarkisses for their adoption of the Weimaraner. Here is Flea Market standing next to his Charming Charcoal Easel. His Pet Specific Food is the Tally-Ho Hoagie. The Webkinz Weimaraner is a store exclusive retailing at the Sugar Bowl Gift Shop.

Thank you to all of the members who notified us of something unusal on the Barnes & Noble website. It seems that many of you have found listings for Webkinz products that have not yet been announced by Ganz. These pets are the Webkinz Moose, Triceratops, Baby Penguin, Clover Puppy, Ginger Cat, and Portuguese Water Dog. There is also a listing for a German Shepherd. It is worth noting that UPC number for the "old" German Shepherd, the one that has been retired by Ganz, does not match the UPC number for the Barnes & Noble listing. Could this be the next Signature Webkinz?
Although at this point we have not been able to confirm the release of any of these new Webkinz with our sources, the announcement of the Daisy Tortoise in the Webkinz Newz earlier today leads us to believe that the odds of these being actual upcoming Webkinz are pretty good. As soon as any more information on these potential Webkinz becomes available, we will bring it to you here.

Thank you to Webkinz Insider member sunnybunny for sharing these pictures with us of the Candy Cane harvest she just brought in on her account. Here you can see her Peppermint Puppy "Peppermint Patty" standing next to her Candy Cane plant with a fully grown Farm Fresh Candy Cane sitting in the flower. sunnybunny got two Farm Fresh Candy Canes from this harvest and can expect more candy in seven days.
These "Farm Fresh Candy Canes", harvested from the Peppermint Puppy's Pet Specific Item, are not the same thing as the "Candy Cane" that was for sale in the wShop during 2007's Christmas season. The "Candy Cane" did not return to the wShop in 2008, and it is unknown if it will return for 2009.

Webkinz Weimaraner
Way back in late August, we brought you the news of a Webkinz Weimaraner coming to Webkinz World in November. Since then, we haven't seen much news on the Weimaraner and were wondering if the release had been delayed.
After today's system update, we've found that the Webkinz Weimaraner has been added to Webkinz World, along with virtual images, PSI and PSF! Since our partner retailer was unable to order the Weimaraner for their November shipment, we are assuming that the Weimaraner is a retailer-exclusive Webkinz still slated for release in November!
